The set screws seem a bit loose or the hex wrench is kinda wobbly in them but hope it will stay together . A riend said if you file the bit of antenna that goes into where the set screw meets it , file that part flat, it will hold better on windy days...

I like the quad band, though, in case I run across repeaters on the two less common bands that the KT-7900D has available. Anyway, I installed it on my mirror and I get about 50 miles range, with it, depending on terrain.
