Absolutely brand new and I looked for the smallest of flaws to see if it was not as new as I suspected. Arrived quickly and packaging was great. Very good value. Might have found it for a few dollars less if I were willing to spend a few hours shopping local Goodwill stores for a few months - & that had been my intention for a several years. (insert funny emoji face here ;)
