Nice sound, easy to use, lightweight, great price.
Let me preface this with I'm a sound tech, so I really appreciate a good sounding piece of equipment when I hear it. With that said.. I am really happy with this product! I purchased it to use when I am in the kitchen as background music when I'm working in there, and it is perfect for this setting. It is nice and compact so it stays out of the way, and the sound it puts out is a very good quality for the size. The Mega Bass button does make a bit of a difference, but it won't pulse out anything below 50 or 60 Hertz, so you won't get the bass you can 'feel', but then again, my kitchen isn't a concert venue. On the higher frequency end, this radio gives a nice crisp sound up to probably 9 kHz or so, so the cymbals are nice and clear. All in all, a really nice sounding little radio for having tunes playing in the background while working or just for listening to. It is very easy to use, I just pulled it out of the box, plugged it in and started playing music off of a USB stick, a CD, and the radio. I haven't tried the recording off of a CD yet, but my computer does that so this isn't why I bought it. So I can't comment of that feature, unfortunately.
