Second book I've read by this author. Both are solidly written romances. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Like an ice cream sundae
I have been a fan of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Childs since stumbling on a copy of Relic when it was donated to my library years ago. I have been fascinated by the way two separate individuals write so well together. This third installment regarding the deathlike struggle between Agent Prendergast and his brother Diogenes, is like an ice cream sundae; tasty, satisfying, yet leaving you hankering for just a bit more. Fortunately, there are a couple very strong hints at the end of the book that lead readers to wonder what is coming next. If you missed any of the earlier books, eBay is perfect for filling in the gaps, and after you have read Reliquary, you might even think about picking up a copy of Jennifer Toth's "The Mole People: Life in the tunnels beneath New York City" which is an excellent read about the people who really do live under the city.
