History from the Crypt - Birth of the Best Comics Ever
I bought this becuase I love all of the old EC comics. I've been into collecting these since my youth, and lately have been a pretty avid buyer of there back issues. As I read the old issues, I am amazed how these artists and creators were innovative and ahead of there time. The art is excellent and detailed and the stories were brilliant and always entertaining. Every comic sticks to you and leaves a satisfied smile. I was in my glory watching this movie. The story is well scripted and the behind the scenes is fascinating. Seeing all the artists and creators describing there life while making these comics put everything in the right perspective to me. Its insperational to see a gang of talented people make strides in storytelling and how to do things you like in your own way. The broke many barriers , yet they were constrained . Hearing there struggles and there success, it was great that they always maintained a close knit family type team that enjoyed working together. I kinda of wish they had a comic cover gallery as a bonus feature, and maybe some more on how there comics influenced pop culture. But all in all, a very colorful, top notch biography that was well edited and directed. Neat little facts and cool stories highlight this movie, and art by one of my favorite artists JACK DAVIS was a thrill to see. The beginning history is great but at times it is slow. I still recommend this for any comic fan. Its a must see if you collect the old golden age comics. Better to watch alone with the lights out. Creepy yet retro cool. A+

Very cool, nice design but expensive
Nice Look, I like the styling and the magnetic feet. I built my own display stand and added a metal strip to hold down better. Thing is, these are quite expensive(I spent 50$+) for what amounts to a action figure instead of a statue. Kinda small. The base is is just a square black plastic piece thats kinda cheap also. Piece comes in 5 parts and you have to snap it all together. I also bought the Captain America one and that looks pretty cool also.

The Professor of Rock makes a masterpiece
Flat out the best Satch CD yet. I love it. Funky, tight, with catchy hooks. The songs have a way of sticking in your head and humming the melodies. Maybe it has to do with the fact his son plays on it, as it has a sound thats more unique than the rest. Overdriver is excellent, what a mean sound, makes you pumped. And the last song on the CD has the most smoking guitar solo ever, it actually takes your breath away like your front seat live in concert. If you have liked Joe before and want a return to the Extremist age, well this is a excellent pick. Guys at work liked it and even people who don't even know him dig it. They say, who's that?-Man that Sounds cool. This has a overall feel like its a soundtrack to a Oscar winning movie. I am surprised none of the songs made it to radio play, as the song " I just wanna Rock " would make a brilliant staple for any rock station. I recommend this CD to anyone who likes to feel there rock with a sophisticated and complicated edge, and who's bored of all the kiddie rock on the radio. I liked it so much I went and bought tickets to see him play in NYC in October. Joe invented another soundtrack to my life. Satchafunkalus 5 star tripendicular !
