73311 Velociraptor software model

Top of the class
Easily the best interpretation of the Velociraptor available. The pose is static yet dynamic in expectation. They could shoot off after prey at any moment. These little guys look mean and clever and they’re plumage is nicely understated. An excellent sculpt. I use them to great effect in dioramas. Highly recommended for both collectors and toy buffs.

Authentic and excellent
I can’t praise this sculpt by Kanzunari Araki highly enough. It looks great and has an authentic fee to it that is generally lacking in other Velociraptor models. It’s not trying to hard and yet it hits a well balanced note between bird of prey and stop-motion dino. It’s a figure in a simplistic, natural pose but with an air of latent movement and the menacing undercurrent that people seem to expect from this little Mongolian predator. Accept no monster-movie substitute, in my opinion this is the best depiction of a raptor on the market right now - and that includes the premium dinosaur manufacturers as well as the big, main stream toy makers. Enjoy.
