This works!
I ordered this jar opener because I have arthritis in my hands. It works! I can open water bottles and jam jars easily. The one I received is a pale, brownish yellow, but the color doesn't matter. It has a permanent place in my kitchen drawer.

Let there be light!
There are two kinds of Singer Featherweight 221 owners: collectors and users. Collectors will say this bulb isn't authentic, but users will find the bright, even light a wonderful asset. I actually sew on my machine and am impressed with the difference this LED bulb makes.
Universal Magnetic Seam Guide For Sewing Machines Machine Foot Parts

Great tool!
I'm teaching my granddaughter to sew and she needed more than just a piece of tape on my sewing machine to keep her seam allowance even. This seam guide is perfect for that. I'm using a Singer Featherweight, so the magnet isn't an issue, but if I had a computerized machine, I'd be very careful about using a magnet.
