Just what I needed

Pays to spend a little more
I bought the Magellan as an upgrade to the cheap knock off cams I've tried. They all worked, but had problems with sharpness, or clarity. Probably would have answered questions about an accident, but there just wasn't the level of detail I wanted. I am pleased with the Magellan after a week or so, and recommend it as a good produce at a fair price. If you need rear-cam, go with the 480. I almost bought that one, but I already had a decent rear cam. I also wanted a GPS, speed, and time stamp, which the 420 and 480 offer.

Good basic tester
I bought one after seeing a coworker use one. I'm not disappointed. For the price, it works fine. I measured a length of Cat5 and used it to calibrate the unit. It was right on. The wiremap feature works fine. I tested with a straight through cable, an Ethernet loopback, and a T1 loopback, and it was accurate each time. I have other continuity testers, but this one is a bit easier to use, and also shows length. Pretty decent unit for the price. If you don't already have an equivalent unit, I'd recommend grabbing one of these.
