Could be designed better.
The terminal block for the line (AC 220) in was too small to accept 12ga wire so I had to twist wires into a two prong fork and could barely get wires in and tightened. It was also the same for the outgoing three phase power! I would have been prudent to spend a little more money for a larger unit with a bigger terminal block. That being said the unit did power up the 3hp motor. I had wanted to try this VFD before the return window closed because I was worried such s small unit might not be powerful enough for such a large motor but the bottom line is that it did work, and I am satisfied with VFD for my project.
