Zoom compact film cameras are 10 a penny on ebay at the moment, so what is so special about this one? 1) The zoom starts at 28mm, a true wide angle, not the usual 38mm. 2) It is still pocketable despite the long 100mm zoom. 3) The delay between pressing the button and something happening is not too annoying. 4) Best of all the exposures are good enough for slide film and very few compacts can boast that. Before buying this camera ( I now have three!) I used an Olympus mju II camera with a fixed 35mm lens which still sell for £40+. I used to miss the versatility of my SLR with that camera, I don't anymore.
