All Through The Town by Carol Monica (2005)
This book provides many different ways you can teach your children about shapes, colors, animals, numbers and people. All at their speed. The book provides vibrant colors, as well as busy scenes that will keep children focused and interested. I do suggest that it may be a bit too busy for bedtime reading, but it is by all means an excellent source for teaching important things at the child's speed and level.

Hunting the Daddyosaurus by Teresa Bateman (2002)
This is a great book that holds a child's attention to what is happening in the story, as they anticipate the dinosaur kids looking for their daddy. It has alot of different ways in which it can be read, for example your tone as you read to them can be excited and for a slightly older child you can make it almost like a mystery. You can speed up your voice, deepen it, make it louder, etc. Overall it is a very versatile book that your children will always pick out and want to have it as their bedtime story. My daughter is 3 and I can almost guarantee the book will be a favorite for many years to come!! I decided to buy it after borrowing it from my local library.
