This album sounds amazing and I couldn't be happier with the way it sounds. It's good to buy from a seller with great taste who is really concerned with the buyer's satisfaction. He was worried that the quality wasn't as high as it should be and threw in two bonus albums! That's customer service done well. I'll be a repeat buyer for certain.

All I Want Is The Truth
I was rather reticent to buy this book Alex Chilton had died. However, author Holly George-Warren has given us a lively and informative book of iconcerning the life and times of legendary songwriter Alex Chilton!  I had only heard bits and pieces of the story behind one of the all-time great American bands Big Star but the writing is cohesive and thus makes this book an easy read! Holly writes the truth concerning the formation of Big Star and why the band was i influential to bands like R.E.M. , The Posies and Chris Stamey! Author George-Warren includes interesting facts about the childhood and one of Big Stars’ polished and highly influential songwriter Alex Chilton! I like the fact that this book is chronologically informed by the the players themselves as well as painstaking research. This book makes a case that If only Alex had great management around the time Big Star made its first recording the band would have been huge!! This book is also essential reading for those interested in the history of American music! Alex Chilton deserved so much better according to George-Warren in terms of accolades, pay and royalties as he and the heroic Ray Davies of the Kinks shared a similar aesthetic in terms of songwriting! I traveled twice to see the superstars of American music including Ken Stringfellow , Chris Stamey and Mike Mills perform tributes to Alex Chilton by covering songs from Big Stars third record album!! Big Star were Americas’ Beatles yet poor distribution and management prevented their albums from even being distributed properly let alone promoted. Chris Bell was Chiltons sensational songwriting partner on #1 Record , probably the greatest debut ever by An American BAND from the south!
