If your cat won't use it as a top loading litter box, NEVER FEAR!
When folks complain that they can't use it "top entry" I just want to tell them that it is not a lost-cause. My daughter's cat would NOT use it top entry, but she loved the look... so all we did was carefully put the litter box on its side, and then put the litter liner in on the "bottom" which is technically on the side, and then snapped the "lid" into place facing forward, so that the entry hole is oriented at the top right of the face. Now it is a front-loading litter box and still looks pretty cool. Additionally, if you don't want to use it as a litter box, it is very cool looking as a cat lounge /climbing furniture, stacked in multiples, or not. Very mod and cool looking. Bummer was I found that the 2ndary seller didn't respond to my questions, but this litter box is my favorite, EVEN IF THE CURRENT COLORS ARE BLAND. And having said that- you can literally paint or "wallpaper" the box itself, to cusomize it, so Hope to upload photos of that , soon:)

Mod Pod suits seven foster cats, and their very finicky custodian too!
First of all, this is even more cool in person than it appears online. Better than I ever anticipated. Very sleek, shiny white plastic- but solid, with smooth edges and dimpled top which is very reminiscent of a favorite apple-shaped designer cologne bottle... Also it is much larger than I thought perhaps, so even my big boy 19lb Baloo can get into it, especially with the unique "jellybean" opening, allowing for some girth when necessary! My cats really like to hide in tight spaces though, so this is still a cozy nook for even 8 lb "Prince" I enticed them inside-at first- with cat nip...but now they take turns in the hideout (so far,in just a couple days, I've caught five of seven fosters lounging inside at one time or another: ) ... I bought three, now awaiting the arrival of my fourth, since other family members are "calling' these when they've seen them in our home and I'm down to only one right now! Assembling is interesting, but I found the shortcut... simply partially insert the "anchor pins" in their three locations through the top half, and THEN mate with the base, using the pin as the guide, and push gently through one at a time, ....it was together in under a minute after struggling with other more cumbersome methods for more than ten. And I love the way it does anchor together, the molded plastic"anchor pins" blend right in for a seamless look. Just thrilled with this product, and highly recommend for other "finicky" MOD pet parents: ) Your kit will love it and you won't mind having it out in your modern home...:least that's how it is for our household:)

Soft and toasty warm!
Interesting that others might not like the warmth of these, I live in Southern California, and although we get cool days and cold nights, I found them almost too warm to wear! Very cozy and soft, and high waisted so doesn’t give you a muffin top. I would definitely recommend if you’re trying to keep warm and especially if you’re going to use them as a layer, soft, and cozy.
