Watchmenmania
It's been over 20 years since the first release of this series and I think in all that time, the themes in Alan and Dave's work have leached into the public conciousness until it was just natural that new readers recognize it as an old friend. Don't pay too much attention to the way it ends, just hang on for the ominious day to day, slice of life character development. Let's hope there's another, self published, Moore / Gibbons colaboration in the works.
