Reviews
The Mirror - [Capaldi] has all the hallmarks of a great Doctor, The Yorker - Peter Capaldi's Doctor is a breath of fresh air. With his snappily dressed outfit and brash persona, Capaldi is a nod back to the Doctors of old such Jon Pertwee and William Hartnell., IGN - 'Deep Breath' succeeded in the most important way, with an array of emotional character beats guaranteed to evoke all the feels., Den Of Geek - [...] it's hard to avoid an underlying confidence that all concerned know they're onto something here. And with some flat out brilliant moments in the last third, there's an old fashioned ethos of putting in the foundations, doing the ground work, and building on substance. As such, the big moments really hit.
