Der CS 1246 von Dual ist ein klassischer, automatischer HiFi-Plattenspieler aus den 1970er Jahren. Er ist mit einem Riemenantrieb ausgestattet und kann in den üblichen zwei Geschwindigkeiten 33 und 45 RPM betrieben werden. Ferner kann die Feineinstellung der Geschwindigkeit über einen Pitch-Regler vorgenommen werden. Dabei hilft das eingebaute Stroboskop-Licht. Zudem verfügt das in der flachen Holzzarge sitzende Gerät über eine Antiskating-Einrichtung und einen gewichtsbalancierten Alu-Roh-Tonarm mit Tonarmlift. Der Plattenspieler kann mit einer entsprechenden Wechslerachse auch als Plattenwechsler betrieben werden. Es können bis zu acht Schallplatten hintereinander abgespielt werden.
