I strongly recommend it" 'Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, A well known definition says that a textbook is a book such that everybody thinks he can write a better one. Biggs' Discrete Mathematics is an exception - not only for its wide range of topics and its clear organization but notably for its excellent style of explanation., '"... a well written book by a world-renowned expert. The explanations go to the heart of the matter and the proofs given are elegant." 'Professor Mohan Shrikhande, University of Michigan, '"the comprehensive course of discrete mathematics" 'L'Enseignement Mathematique, t.36, fasc.1-2, 1990, This is a new edition of a successful textbook ... this revision is particularly welcome ... The text is written in a fluent but rigorous style and should appeal to sixthformers and undergraduates who are alienated by more formal presentations. There are plenty of approachable exercises, ranging from easy riders to establish technique to more challenging problems which introduce new ideas, and a bonus is that all the answers are available on a companion web-site. I can thoroughly recommend this text., 'For the Second Edition:"... it is a wonderful book. Biggs' expository style is of the highest quality." 'Professor James Reid, University of Mississippi

Dernier moisAchat vérifiéItem in condition described. The shipment tracking was completely opaque and shipping was slow. The seller used a third-party shipping solution provider that gave a USPS tracking number, but, USPS had no real tracking info. I was not able to see any delivery estimate until the day before it arrived. When the delivery date estimate finally materialized, it was off by two days, saying arrival would be on e.g. the 5th when it actually arrived on the 3rd.
- b***3 (500)- Évaluations laissées par l'acheteur.Dernier moisAchat vérifiéAs the title mentions awesomebooksusa, most books have been rarely awesome but the book prices have been almost generous, granted. Unbelievable services : 3 day international shipping, prompt dispatch, newly book condition, provided tracking, secure package, exactly received book, and safe deliveries. My gratitude to the seller’s thoughts of the needy buyers sending the wanted books to the new residence. Many thanks! Arabella
