This is Anna Maria's first CD of original compositions with the outstanding and contemporary arrangements by the creative and talented Massimo Passon, Italian musician, arranger and composer (Masterstudio) In a world of "religious correctness" and abundance of man made traditions, Anna Maria is a voice rising in the wilderness. This is a true labour of love, commitment, courage and faith, awaiting daily for the provision to the vision the Almighty Yehovah Elohim, the Creator of Heavens and Earth gave her one little step at the time. Anna Maria Soprano The woman Anna Maria's is fascinating and inspiring story: from great loss, to even a greater story of her rebirth, redemption and restoration on both a personal and artistic level. All the events of her life molded her into an amazing vibrant woman of strength and gentleness, with a passion and love for life. Like a pearl that is formed and begins to grow. Out of pain and suffering, it forms an object of great beauty. The harmful or invading particle to the oyster actually becomes a gem of great worth. So who is Anna Maria? Anna Maria Soprano (her married last name is Cavicchia) was born Anna Maria Caserta on August 16, 1970 in the North Eastern Italian city of Udine, between the Austrian and Slovenian border, not too far from Venice. Her childhood was quite different from other children, whereas her mother Cecilia is deaf mute and her father hearing impaired. Both her younger brother Antonio and Anna Maria were raised in a loving, but silent household. As a child her father Innocenzo would buy old classical records for her to listen. That is were her love for music was molded, especially classical music. Her gift of singing was realized when she was 18 years old. Her life became artistically busy between her music studies, first performances and various music competitions. She eventually married a very popular Italian Illusionist. In 1998, she moves to the Dominican Republic and then in 2001, to Philadelphia, PA, USA, with a work visa as performer. At this point Anna Maria had a rich, vibrant, successful and productive artistic life, although her private life was in shamble. Her marriage of 16 years was composed of a regular diet of psychological and physical abuses, often just minutes before stepping into stage. Eventually carrying the burden of a perfect public life and at the same time the secrecy of a distressed private one, took it's toll. In November 2003, Anna Maria returned to Italy, completely drained; her self esteem depleted and extreme anxiety causing the complete loss of her voice. This time of extreme trial was just about to come to a tragic hopeless ending if wasn't for Divine intervention when one night seeing herself between a rock and a hard place and no way out, opted for the horrible, extreme measure of attempting to take her own life. Anna Maria's husband left her after being confronted by her brother about the abuses as he was ready to report them to the authorities. The love and support of her family was essential to her recovery process. Anna Maria returned to the United States at the end of 2004. After obtaining a divorce remarried in 2005 to a loving husband that had been instrumental in building up her self esteem. Anna Maria's life restoration and redemption process had a pivotal point that same year, when she turned to Yehovah, the Creator of the universe, surrendering to Him her entire life, putting her trust and faith in Him through in His only begotten Son: Messiah Yeshua. Begotten again in the Spirit her life changed forever. The first of a long series of miracle was the birth of her first child, Marc Anthony, at almost the age of 36! Then the voice slowly but steadily was restored as well, better than ever. At the end of 2009, Anna Maria was diagnosed with beginning stages of MS (multiple sclerosis).
