The Loar LH-700 Acoustic Guitar is an archtop that produces smooth tones reminiscent of the Jazz Age because of its hand-carved construction. The guitar features a spruce top while maple is used for the back, sides, and neck. These woods create the resonate tones and enhanced volume that are the hallmarks of this guitar. These woods also produce a lustrous finish capped with a nitrocellulose lacquer. The Vintage V profile of the neck and bound ebony fretboard allow for complex finger positions, smooth transitions, and chord changes while greatly reducing string buzz. The overall body length of the guitar is 40 1/2 inches, and this reflects a respect for the long tradition of jazz guitars that were crafted for working musicians. Flawless hardware and abalone inlays make this a guitar any musician would be proud to display as the centerpiece of their collection.
