The Mega Man Battle Network series draws to a climactic close with the dual release of Cybeast Gregar and Cybeast Falzar on Game Boy Advance. Players will once again take command of both human character Lan and Capcom's classic blue robot as they freely journey between a futuristic town called Cyber City and the virtual network accessed by computer terminals. The title refers to one of the storyline's two ancient creatures whose immense power has been absorbed temporarily by Mega Man. Depending on the version, Mega Man will either be able to tap into the powers of a wolf or a bird-like creature to enhance his speed, rate of fire, and attack strength. Mega Man can also download his defeated foes' abilities by using the game's new "cross system" feature. As the Blue Bomber battles computer viruses in cyberspace, he will be joined by an assortment of helpful Link Navis, five of which are exclusive to each Cybeast cartridge. Multiplayer support is also included for friends to trade programs and battle chips with one other, or to engage in competitive Net battles via Game Link Cable.
