In Wolfchild you must punch and shoot (with various psychic power blasts) your way through five levels of mutant lizards, hostile plants, giant mutated insects, and other sick and twisted creatures on your way to freeing your captured father. The play fields include a giant battle cruiser filled with assault squads, a jungle saturated with giant trees, and an ancient temple riddled with traps.
One day your father, the brilliant Kal Morrow, was happily working away in his lab, perfecting plans for the ultimate war machine -- a being with the brains of a man and the instincts and strength of a wolf. But the evil Karl Draxx, head of international terrorist gang Chimera, foiled his plans by kidnapping him and killing his wife, who also happens to be your mom. This makes you understandably angry and you swear by all that is holy (and unholy) that you will exact vengeance on this terrible man and his gang.
You were a pretty good athlete in your day, but you know that you're no match for an entire regimen of megalomaniacs, terrorists, fanatics, and scumbags. Luckily, while pushing a few buttons on your father's computer, you stumble across a mysterious program called Project Wolfchild. You eagerly step into the transmutation booth and activate the program. Instantly you are transformed from a mild-mannered oceanographer into a lycanthropic warrior equipped with incredible strength, psychic powers, and a mean left hook. Now you are ready to face anything or anyone and go rescue your father.
