Eternal Sonata for Sony PlayStation 3 is a role-playing game created by Tri-Crescendo. Originally released for the Xbox 360, the Sony Playstation 3 game was released in October 2008. Frédéric Chopin, the famous Polish composer and pianist, is the focal point of Eternal Sonata. Hours before Chopin died, he was able to visualize a dream world, and this role-playing game is a representation of that. The music and paintings of Chopin's era have been given a digital representation in Eternal Sonata. Players can take on the role of Chopin (along with several other characters) in this Sony PlayStation 3 game. In addition to the story line and classical music score, one of the most unique elements of this role-playing game is the contrasting gameplay that is balancing between light and darkness: each character has different abilities based on whether they're standing in light and shadow. The Playstation 3 version of Eternal Sonata also features new characters and dungeons that weren't in the original Xbox 360 version.
