Synopsis
Introduction to Clinical Psychology covers the history, theory, practice, and potential future of the discipline and provides a comprehensive overview of interviewing, assessment, psychotherapy, community intervention, and public policy. The text describes psychological assessment procedures in detail and provides case studies demonstrating how the tests are administered and interpreted. It presents psychotherapy from both the traditional "schools" perspective and the practical perspective of number of individuals being seen-individual, couple, group, and family., Introduction to Clinical Psychology covers the history, theory, practice, and potential future of the discipline and provides a comprehensive overview of interviewing, assessment, psychotherapy, community intervention, and public policy. The text describes psychological assessment procedures in detail and provides case studies demonstrating how the tests are administered and interpreted. It presents psychotherapy from both thetraditional "schools" perspective and the practical perspective of number of individuals being seen-individual, couple, group, and family. At the beginning of each chapter on applied methods, an "ethical conundrums" box addresses practical issues likely to be faced by clinical psychologists in the course of theirwork. Points to consider about these dilemmas, presented at the chapter conclusion, illustrate not only the concept of ethical practice but also the fact that reality is not as clear-cut as published codes might suggest. In addition, later chapters present a range of career specialties through interviews with practicing psychologists at various points in their professional lives. Each psychologist responds to a standard series of questions, so students can compare andcontrast their responses in order to gauge their own interest in and aptitudes for different career paths.Written in conversational prose with references to the authors' own lives and careers, Introduction to Clinical Psychology is ideal for undergraduate courses., Introduction to Clinical Psychology covers the history, theory, practice, and potential future of the discipline and provides a comprehensive overview of interviewing, assessment, psychotherapy, community intervention, and public policy. - 5***r (181)- Évaluations laissées par l'acheteur.6 derniers moisAchat vérifiéOne of the best shopping experiences that I've had on ebay: thoughtful speedy communication, ultra fast shipping with careful packaging, and great price. Item came as described. Regarding the price of the CD- as I write this another seller is asking over $200 for it. Zuber's price was $35.00. How's that? I know these people have some negative reviews, but I can tell that they strive for improvement and better customer service. Highly recommended seller. Thanks Zuber!
- s***m (290)- Évaluations laissées par l'acheteur.6 derniers moisAchat vérifiéA new copy of a rare out-of-print CD was packed in a box mailer and was quickly shipped. I can't remember the last time any merchant packed a CD in a box--usually they throw it in an envelope and the CD or case arrive damaged--so this seller rates the BEST score possible! The seller sent a message telling me that the CD was shipped and gave instructions in case there were any problems (there were none). Great experience...Gret Seller!!!
- l***1 (1374)- Évaluations laissées par l'acheteur.6 derniers moisAchat vérifiéGreat seller; seller shipped the book SUPER FAST, FREE and with tracking number/information. The carrier used by seller was great, made the delivery in the wee hours of the morning and notified me immediately. Also, the book came in water proof bag, which is greatly appreciated since it was damp outside given the early delivery. I am so pleased with seller's description of this book, very accurate. Great communication too; rate seller 10++++++EL PRINCIPE Y LA BELLA CUBANA. LOS AMORES DE DON ALFONSO By Roberto G. Fernandez (n°186393647586)
