The Hasbro Transformers Generations Megatron Leader Class Armada series action figure can be both a toy and a collectors’ item. You can relive the classic Transformers Megatron character updated to contemporary toy standards with the Transformers Generations Armada version. You can enjoy real action with firing plastic missiles from the Fusion Cannon in robot mode and the missile launcher in tank mode. Backstory: The Transformers Megatron character attacks earth after destroying his own planet in a long and devastating war. He was once a noble hero and leader who rose from lowly origins, but his corruption led him down the path towards war. Now he is one of the Decepticon leaders. Only the Transformers Autobots can protect Earth from Megatron’s attacks. The Autobots have fought Megatron on Earth and on the Transformers’ home planet of Cybertron. The Armada storyline begins on the planet Cybertron. Decepticons and Autobots fight a war to control the small, power-enhancing Mini-Con Transformers. The Autobots help the Mini-Cons escape Cybertron, but after a Decepticon attack the Mini-Cons’ escape ship is forced to crash land on Earth. The story resumes on Earth where the Decepticons and Autobots scour the globe for Mini-Cons. You can change the Hasbro Transformers Megatron Generations figure from robot to tank mode with the drama of a 15 step transformation. Transformers Megatron in robot form shoots enemies with the Fusion Cannon mounted on his right arm. You can link up with three Transformers Mini-Cons using the pegs mounted on the Megatron figure’s back and shoulder. This is true to the Armada story where Megatron connects with Mini-Cons to add to his power. You can use the built-in ports to attach four additional weapons to the toy body. You can pose Transformers Megatron in a variety of realistic positions using multiple points of articulation on the arms, legs, waist, head, and neck. The Transformers Megatron Generations Armada Class version action figure head sculpture is based on the Transformers Armada Megatron comic book and cartoon figure, featuring two large red antlers on either side of the head. The Generations version toy is true to the original Armada series with the detailing of the action figure in both robot and tank mode.
