SINGLEFIN: YELLOW is a stunning portrayal of multiple people's perspectives on surfing, all of them sharing a common passion and drive for the sport. In the vein of surf doc THE ENDLESS SUMMER, director Jason Baffa follows a single surfboard across the globe, travelling over five continents and covering thousands of miles to explore the different cultural proclivities and personal affinities of those who comprise the surfing community. Surfing is the crucial thing that drives the experiences of six elite longboarders as they describe their motivations and inspirations over beautifully shot 16mm visuals. The film was a hit with audiences on the festival circuit and was the most nominated film at the 2003 X-Dance Awards.
