Bubble Town robots are slowly going berserk due to Solex overload and are in danger of falling under evil Dr. K's control. In CUBIX: Robots for Everyone -- Clash 'N Bash, players must fight off Dr. K's bad bots and rescue the BT robots by transferring energy units to keep them healthy, wielding lasers, rockets, and mines, and gathering special attack power-ups. Nearly a dozen power-ups, such as shields, speed boosts, health, attack and jump increases, extra mines and rockets, and pictures from bested bad bots, will be needed to defeat Dr. K's bad bots three times each.
Players can unlock and collect 104 pictures in a special photo gallery by using various combinations of punches to defeat the bad bots -- the more difficult the maneuver, the rarer the picture. The robots in the gallery can then be purchased for use in single or multiplayer games, and can be traded via GBA link cable with up to three other players. Gameplay options include, story mode, free-for-all (last robot standing wins), team play (two against the computer or two other players) and "Take and Run," a tag game with a time limit.
Fighting takes place in eight Bubble Town locations filled with items, objects, and weapons. Hazards like oil puddles, electrical cables, moving traffic, burning oil, and acid drain robot health, while barrels, trash cans, and boxes found in the environment add to the players arsenal. CUBIX: Robots for Everyone -- Clash 'N Bash is based on the WB show from 4Kids Entertainment.
