Based on the contemporary NBC prime time game show, 2008's 1 vs. 100 challenges Nintendo DS players to outwit a "Mob" of 100 competitors in answering a series of trivia questions. Members of the mob are eliminated when they answer incorrectly, and contestants remain as long as they continue to answer correctly. A virtual million dollar prize is available to players who can outlast the Mob to be the last competitor standing.
Up to three additional DS players can join a game through a wireless connection, as members of the Mob. In addition to the traditional "TV" style of play, the DS version of 1 vs. 100 introduces a new mode, in which players can wager on the trivia questions. The game is hosted by a virtual Bob Saget, and features fan-familiar graphics and sound effects from the show.
