RESTORE ENGINE RESTORER & LUBRICANT
Please read carefully the instructions we send you with RESTORE oil before commencing treatment. In particular, never use RESTORE in HEUI* (Hydraulically Actuated Electronic Unit injection) engines, Toyota VVTL-i, BMW VANOS, Subaru AVCS, Honda iVTec, Fiat MultiAir, GM Active Fuel Management engines or any other engines that use high pressure engine oil to regulate camshaft positioning and valve timings. Do not used RESTORE in engines using petroil mixes or where the engine oil runs through a clutch assembly (wet clutch). RESTORE does not work effectively with friction-reducing oil additives (PTFE, Prolong, Activ8, Motorup etc.) or ester based oils (e.g. sports or racing formulas like Silkolene ‘R’, AMSOIL) so avoid using RESTORE with any of these.
 
*HEUI diesel engines pump engine oil at extremely high pressure through very narrow oil-ways and so are intolerant of particles in the oil or even dirty and degraded oil. You will know if you have a HEUI engine because you will have two oil pumps and two oil filters. HEUI engines were developed by Caterpillar for use on bigger trucks and machinery and are quite rare in the UK.
 
RESTORE is not a quick-fix for mechanical problems such as bad timing, burnt or broken valves or rings, holed pistons, perished seals, cracked cylinder walls, glazed bores or cracked or warped heads etc. nor is it a substitute for regular maintenance i.e. oil and filter changes at the recommended intervals. RESTORE will not work in a sump filled with black sludge blocking the oil pump pickup; clean the engine before you commence treatment.
 
RESTORE is a technological innovation that fights the aging effects of friction and wear by filling the scratches in friction-producing metal. Please obtain a fault diagnosis from a motor technician if you have a problem that you are looking for RESTORE to fix before you commence a remetallizing treatment so that your expectations for RESTORE are not unrealistic.

All Ametech RESTORE products purchased directly from Ametech or from any of our authorised Local Stockists are backed by our 90 day Money Back Guarantee. This Guarantee, and the Guarantee period, begins on the date of retail purchase as detailed on your sales receipt.
 
To activate this Guarantee you must register the product purchase at www.ametech.co.uk within 14 days of purchase. Should you not wish to register, you will be covered in accordance with your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act.
 
If you get the product home and then decide it is not for you, you can return unopened unused cans to the retailer for a full refund within 30 days of purchase or receipt. All products returned should be in a clean, unopened, unused and undamaged state suitable for resale. Damaged and unsaleable returns will be rejected.
 
 
What the Guarantee covers -
 
We have such confidence RESTORE products and their abilities to improve, enhance and protect the performance of your vehicle or machinery, that we will give you your money back if you are not happy with the results after 1000 miles (or 20 hours) of use. This guarantee applies your FIRST purchase of any single unit (bottle or can) of RESTORE, providing it has been used in accordance with the instructions provided (See Note below).
 
 
If you are dissatisfied with any product please call the Ametech Technical Helpline on 01728 726620 in the first instance for advice. A series of questions will be asked to validate any claim under the Money Back Guarantee, so please be prepared to give as much detail as possible about the vehicle and your reasons for purchasing the product in question. If you are unable to call, please contact us to request a Guarantee Refund Claim Form for completion and return.
 
To qualify for the guarantee refund, you must have completed 1000 miles or more in your vehicle after adding RESTORE. At our discretion we may require evidence of the mileage you have covered since adding RESTORE to your engine. Please take a date recorded photo of your milometer both before treatment and prior to submitting your claim (or take photos of your milometer and email them to yourself to keep a record).
 
Please make sure that you retain your original receipt indicating the place and date of purchase, the product description and the price paid, as you will be required to present this to validate your claim.
 
If you have purchased more than one unit (single can or bottle), we will refund your money on the first unit and you can return any unused product unopened within 90 days, for a refund. Customers may be given the option of more product free of charge in place of a refund if their prime concern is to fix their engine.
 
This Guarantee applies only to the FIRST purchase of any one unit (can or bottle) of an Ametech RESTORE product and to one refund request per lifetime, individual, family or address. Refund claims for multiple product purchases do not apply and will not be honoured. Requests for refunds under the money-back guarantee will not be entertained more than 90 days after the date of purchase.
 
Only purchases made in the UK for consumption within the UK are covered under the Money Back
 
We accept domestic returns for product purchased for consumption in the United Kingdon (UK) and delivered to an address in the UK. We do not accept international returns.
 
Refunds will be given on unopened, undamaged product returned to us in the original packaging within 30 days of receipt (but not on return postage and packing charges). Please contact us via eBay messages to request a return or use the eBay Returns programme. Please return goods using a trackable delivery service such as recorded delivery for your own protection.
 
DO NOT not use the Returns programme to request a return if you have used the product.
 
DAMAGED GOODS
All faulty/damaged goods, errors and omissions must be reported to us by phone or email within 48 hours of receipt. If it is obvious that the package has been damaged in transit, please keep the packaging as this may be needed as evidence in a claim against the carrier. Where the packing cannot be retained for safety reasons, please obtain photographic evident of the damage before disposal. If we ask you to return an item which is damaged or faulty we will refund the return postage costs. Please return goods using a trackable delivery service such as recorded delivery for your own protection.

DELIVERY
Please provide a good daytime telephone number, preferably a mobile number, to assist the courier in delivery to the correct address. Some couriers will not allow us to book any consignment for delivery where we cannot provide the telephone number of the recipient.
 
It is important that the delivery address provided is verifiable by postcode and where there are several businesses operating from the same address that we are notified of the name of the business the recipient can be found at.
 
We will ship within the dispatch time specified on our listings, but because we cannot guarantee the speed of postal services, unless you have paid for a timed or fast delivery option, please allow 7 working days from the dispatch date for your goods to reach you if you live in the UK and 14 working days if you live in Europe. All other international deliveries may take anywhere between one weeks and three weeks, depending on the mode of transport.
 
We use a variety of shippers including MyHermes, UKMail, DHL, Royal Mail and Parcelforce. Not all carriers guarantee their delivery times and although most of them enjoy a 98% success ratio of delivery on time there will inevitably be delays which are outside our control. If your parcel has not arrived within 7 days of posting please contact us so we may investigate the reason for delay for you or use the tracking reference we send you to make your own investigations.
 
You will be required to sign for most parcels upon receipt, so please make sure someone will be around during the day, at the address you have given, to receive the parcel.
 
Alternatively, you can message us to nominate a Safe Place where the parcel can be left if no-one is likely to be home to receive it. The Safe Place must be somewhere safe, secure and weatherproof on your property or a close neighbour. It is your responsibility to ensure that the Safe Place you nominate is indeed secure; we will not be held responsible for losses or damages occurring to goods or parcels left in a Safe Place you have specified.
 
If no Safe Place is nominated and no-one is in to receive the parcel, a card will be left asking you to pick-up from the local depot or to call the delivery agents to arrange re-delivery. If you do not collect the parcel or contact the carriers to arrange re-delivery in a timely manner, the parcel will be returned to us. Some couriers charge up to twice the original delivery charge for every parcel returned to us due to unsuccessful delivery, so please make every effort to ensure safe delivery of your parcel. All return charges levied by delivery agents due to unsuccessful delivery will be charged back to the buyer either as a deduction from any refund for cancellation of the order or as a charge prior to re-shipment of the goods.
 
Where we make delivery charges, these cover both postage and packing and are subject to UK VAT. We take care to pack our customers parcels well, using professional packing materials appropriate to the nature of product being carried. We aim to dispatch orders on a daily basis, Monday to Friday in accordance with the dispatch terms specified on the listings. We do not normally dispatch orders during weekends.
 
DELIVERY TO UK POSTCODES -
 
UK Economy delivery is provided in most cases by MyHermes courier service. This is an estimated 3-5 working day delivery service, although this is not guaranteed. Where MyHermes does not service a particular postcode in the UK we will employ an alternative carrier to ship your parcel.
 
UK Standard Delivery (1-2 working days*) and Express Delivery (Next working Day*) will usually be provided by UKMail (DHL Parcels UK) courier service, but occasionally we may use Royal Mail or Parcelforce. Some postcodes in the UK are classed as remote and Express Delivery carriers increase their shipping charges accordingly. The postcodes that carry these higher charges are shown below:

The delivery charges for most UK postcodes are programmed into eBay and a shipping quote obtained by entering your postcode. However, some postcodes in Northern Scotland (other than Highlands or Islands) do not register on the eBay system as remote and quote only the normal shipping rate for the rest of the UK. If your delivery address falls within one of the postcodes above, the shipping charge for Standard Delivery (1-2 working days*) will be £20 and for Express Delivery (Next working Day*) will be £30. DELIVERY TO INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS -
 
We do not advertise rates for delivery to international destinations but will be happy to consider delivery to most destinations and provide shipping quotes on an ad hoc basis. Please message us with your country, town and postcode from the listing for the item you wish to purchase.
 
In all cases, you, the buyer, will be responsible for the payment of vat, customs duties and clearance charges upon entry into your country, which must be paid to the shipper in advance of delivery. Please consider these extra costs before you make your decision to purchase.
 
We use Royal Mail to delivery the majority of overseas shipments, but they restrict liquid products to 1 litre per package. Should you wish to purchase more than one litre of liquid product for delivery abroad, your order will be split into two or more parcels to comply with Royal Mail restrictions and the shipping cost will be calculated accordingly.
