"Brrrr, it's cold out there!" Frostbite Bailey needs your help in building an igloo so he can keep warm. To do this, you'll need to guide him so that he safely jumps on moving ice floes along the Arctic Sea. Each time he lands on a block of ice, a piece of the igloo will appear in the top right corner of the screen; keep jumping on blocks until you see a door, then try to make it back to dry land. Besides falling into the frigid water, Frostbite Bailey will have to worry about snapping clams, flying snowgeese, bobbing Alaskan king crabs and even polar bears roaming near the igloo!
The game is divided into nine waves, each more difficult than the last, with faster enemies and smaller blocks of ice to land on. Once you reach the ninth wave, play will continue for as long as you're able to stay afloat. Frostbite also features a temperature display at the top of the screen which gradually decreases over time (it begins at 45 degrees). Should it reach zero, Frostbite Bailey will freeze and you'll lose one life. Don't worry -- you'll be able to add more lives (up to nine) for every 5,000 points you accumulate, and you can also catch fish for 200 bonus points apiece. Four different game variations let you go solo or take turns with a friend on either a normal or advanced game.
