This film goes some way to paying a long-overdue debt to the late genre-hopping singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt, with rare footage and warm testimonials from the likes of Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, and a hilarious, tequila-swigging Guy Clark combining to tell Van Zandt's remarkable tale.
