After being "rattled" by a few seismic experiments in a remote desert, a multitude of snakes emerged from the surface. Guess what? They're not too happy! Now you have to fend them off by making them eat their own species in this Tetris-style puzzle game. Different types of snakes will slither down a well, and you'll have to direct their heads so they touch similarly patterned snakes in order to remove them from the playing field.
If at any time the well fills up, the game is over. Variations in the game include ten different grid shapes, obstacles in the playing field, three levels of difficulty, two-player support via Link Cable, and the King Cobra Challenge. This mode has eight levels requiring you to eliminate a certain amount of snakes within a time limit. WildSnake is also graphically enhanced for play on the SNES with the Super Game Boy adapter.
