Lowering the operating temperature can help to ensure that the product and its contents remain protected. Perhaps more importantly, your data is protected as well. WD NoTouch ramp load technology ensures that the recording head of the hard drive doesn't touch the disk media. The feature greatly reduces wear on both the recording head and the media. It also serves to better protect the hard drive while being transported. This internal HDD features a metallic cover that protects data from damaging bumps and vibrations. The integrated ShockGuard also works to protect the drive from bumps and vibrations instantly when in use. This allows WD Caviar Blue devices to lead the industry in shock protection. I ordered this laptop about a month ago on June 6th. It arrived quickly on June 10th. It arrived securely packaged, and the physical appearance of the laptop was like new. I did have a problem with a feature. I contacted the seller and he made it right with a replacement. I appreciate more than anything the good customer service. I would order from this seller again.

Think you're getting Priority Mail with these 2TB drives? Possibly not. If you order more than 2, shipping is downgraded to Ground Advantage, because only 2 drives will fit in a priority padded envelope. Umm, how about 2 priority envelopes then? Or a medium flat rate box? The listing description should state this policy, but it doesn't. They're in California, so if you're ordering from the east coast, Ground Advantage can be a Dis-advantage. Be prepared to wait. Good drives and price.
