Coty is a beauty-products company established in 1904 in Paris, France by François Coty. The first Coty’s perfume “La Rose Jaqueminot” was packaged in an extravagant Baccarat bottle and was introduced the same year, making its founder a millionaire. Coty accentuates on the importance of offering a gorgeous and luxurious products such as perfume in an equally gorgeous and exquisite package. This belief resulted in a partnership with the ceramic artist Rene Lalique, who designed some of the early Coty creations.
