Ubisoft's unruly horde of rabbit-ish rascals helps welcome Nintendo's 3DS with an off-beat adventure through some of the most poignant moments in human history. Rabbids Travel in Time is mainly a side-scrolling platform game, presented with (virtual and stereoscopic) 3D graphics. While visiting a history museum, the rabbids discover a "Time Washing Machine," which they use to visit different eras in human history. Players lead their rabbid to jump and kick through more than 60 historically themed levels, with blocks to bust for bonuses and dozens of collectable costumes for character customization. A little bit creepy, a little bit cute, their id-driven exploits leave a wake of destruction through the historic times and places they visit, portrayed in a comedic style that should be familiar to the series' fans. In addition to the main adventure, the game features "challenge" and "time-attack" modes.
