No Rules: Get Phat comes to Game Boy Advance with six language options and a whole neighborhood of gritty distinctive characters replete with exaggerated personalities, attitude, and flair developed around the No Rules brand of clothing. For collectors, the box contains a mini-board with a picture of the punk-tough gang leader, One Eye Jack, who leads you on a quest to rid the 'hood of nasty creatures and "Punkazz" aliens who are here to "get phat."
Jack visits five environments including Downtown, Colbutt Mountain, Undaground, Cocoa Soul Puffies Cereal Factory, and the Punkazz Mutha Ship. Levels are filled with alligators, polar bears, aliens, obstacles, half-pipes, and more as you skateboard, snowboard, scratch, and shoot your way to power-ups, health snacks, first aid kits, vinyl records, and level bosses. Gameplay requires picking up new tricks, Jack-heads for extra lives, and various types of alien ammo to supplement Jack's normal arsenal of slingshot marbles, as he progresses through the levels.
Punkazz enemies range from hover-thugs and snipers to drones and patrollers, with six types overall. Tricks include hand plants, kicks, a Board Whack Attack, Double Ollies, 360s, and jumps. For gamers who are skateboard-lingo challenged, the opening cartoon dialogue bubbles between Jack and friends is translated into English-speak at the bottom of the screen.
