The original part I bought had an issue but the seller was responsive and accommodating in making me whole on the purchase. Apparently outside of the sellers control is the price charged by Ebay for shipping, which I think is sort of high given the size of the item, in spite of the distance, so I just couldn t give that 5 stars, but I needed the part, they had it, so the shipping was good enough to get the job done. I would buy from this seller again.

To their credit, the Seller reached out to me proactively today having noted my poor review and said I should have contacted them first (fair enough, however I had gotten things to work using half of the new part and half the old, so I had just moved on), and they offered to refund my purchase, which I appreciate. Assuming it actually occurs I will upgrade my review of this experience because they reached out to me, and I think that is a sign of good customer service.

Bad seller. Buy at your own risk. Impossible to communicate with seller. Contacted by ebay messaging, phone, never returned messages. Item, a heavy brass/chrome plated Gaggia metal group head part, was packaged too thin, with no fragile markings whatsoever. As shown in picture, package arrived with a gaping hole, torn bubble wrap. The brass heat pipe ring hole, was visibly damaged/bent by package falling/smashing the ground. Part still works, but plating is scratched. Will not buy here again.

Unfortunately the part pictured on the sale page was not what I received. Contacted seller about the issue. Seller responded quickly and gave a full refund. These things happen I guess? Otherwise would be happy to recommend .
