Welltris, inspired by the classic Tetris, is a puzzle game in which you rotate, arrange, and otherwise manipulate falling blocks. Gameplay is from a 3D perspective, as if you are peering down a 4-sided well with grid-like walls and a floor. The goal is to arrange the puzzle pieces quickly and accurately on the bottom grid.
Game pieces are geometric shapes made up of two, three, four or five squares. As each piece falls to the floor, you must make it fit among the pieces already at the bottom of the well. When you form an unbroken line (either horizontal or vertical) at the bottom of the well with the various pieces, the line disappears, freeing up room for more game pieces. Play continues as long as there is available empty space on the floor and the pieces keep falling. Welltris features three difficulty levels, each containing five speeds. An optional mode allows you to preview the next shape that will fall.
