"Friday the 13th: The Ultimate Collection" is an eight-disc set of the first eight movies in the "Friday the 13th" American horror franchise. In the first movie, Mrs. Voorhees, played by Betsy Palmer, is the killer of the teenagers at Camp Crystal Lake. She is trying to stop the camp from reopening after her son drowned in the lake. In the movies II through VII in the "Friday the 13th: The Ultimate Collection," Jason Voorhees is alive, grown up, and killing anyone that arrives at Crystal Lake. In "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan", Jason follows a group of teenagers on a senior trip cruise to Manhattan. The original movie was directed and produced by Sean S. Cunningham.
