The second game in the Mega Man ZX series, Mega Man ZX Advent offers the same kind of plot and character duality as it's predecessor, but with an English voice cast and a whole new gang of enemy Mega Men to fight. The two protagonists, a young human girl named Ashe and a young Reploid boy named Grey, discover the powers of the Biometal model A and use it to help end the chaos caused by an ongoing battle between humans and robots. Though the two characters share the same adventures, their stories are different, and players must use both Grey and Ashe to unlock the full plot.
The Biometal model A is special because, in addition to it's own set of unique attacks, it gives Grey and Ashe the ability to mimic the abilities of any vanquished foe. So battling each of the eight "Pseudoroid" Mega Men lets players gain special abilities that help them advance through the game and access previously unavailable areas. Mega Man ZX Advent takes advantage of the DS touch screen by allowing gamers to switch between the Biometal and map screens with the flick of a finger, and beating bosses in strategic ways unlocks more than 20 valuable bonus items. Two players can team up or go head-to-head in wireless action, and solo gamers can take it easy with five unlockable mini-games.
