Think you've got what it takes to be a master safecracker? Want to practice for a future life of crime? Then you've found a perfect partner in Codebreaker for the Atari 2600.
The main game is a version of the classic Mastermind numbers game, in which you must correctly guess a series of numbers in the proper sequence. The most points are earned by cracking the safe code in the number of fewest turns. Follow the computer's clues as you try to determine the correct series of numbers. If the beginning levels are too easy, there are both novice and genius levels to challenge you.
Included among the cartridge's 20 game variations is "Nim," a game where you and your opponent take turns removing objects arranged into stacks. A player can remove any number of objects on his/her turn, but only from one stack. The winner is the last player to remove an object. Challenge the computer or a friend and see who is truly the master Codebreaker.
