""Saint Seiya"" was an anime series focusing on intense battles between armored combatants. The Saint Seiya Myth Cloth EX line of figures brings this action home to your shelf. Virgo Shaka, the reincarnation of Buddha himself, is known for both his fighting style and stylish gold armor. These traits are true of the figure as well, as it includes both the armor and all the accessories he used on the show. Virgo Shaka is roughly 6 inches in height and is in scale with the other Saints in this line. Each character in the anime series gets its power from an object. Virgo Shaka gets his from a statue of a praying angel, her head looking toward the clouds. The included object is made almost entirely of die cast, featuring a glossy shine to its exterior. When it's time to battle, you can detach the gold armor from the object to power up Shaka. Everything from the boots and pants to the gloves and helmet attach to the character. Each of these gold armor pieces is die cast metal except for three pieces: the helmet, the waist armor, and the hand covers. This gold armor easily attaches to the character and stays secure during movement. This Saint figure includes two different types of armor pieces for the shoulders. One set of armor is one solid piece. The other armor piece has movable parts, allowing the Saint to move his arms while wearing it. The die cast armor is also resistant to fingerprints as well. This Saint features over 20 points of articulation both in and out of his armor. His head is on a ball joint, letting the action figure move his head in all directions. He features ball joints at the shoulders, a swivel in the bicep, and double jointed elbows and wrist joints. These joints let him pull off all his signature attacks from the television show. Below the waist, the figure has double jointed knees and articulation in the hips and ankles. This articulation lets him pull off action poses as well as sitting poses with his legs folded over one another. This figure is made of a combination of high quality ABS and PVC plastic. No matter what pose you put this Saint figure in, you don't need to worry about the joints wearing down or breaking. In addition, the metal armor is designed not to scratch the plastic. This Saint comes with more than 15 accessories. There are five swappable faces, each displaying a different emotion. For example, one face shows the character at peace while another face shows him screaming. The Saint character includes 16 different hands in eight sets. These hands range from closed fists to open palms. Also included are two interconnected hands so you can pose the figure as if he were meditating. You also get Shaka's weapon, a set of rosary beads, in two different forms. The beads come in both a neutral form and an attack form. The Saint figure can hold this weapon in either hand.
