Through this book, one can clearly hear the cry of the Spirit calling the church to prayer. Every page stirs a longing to commune with God. Lynne has been gifted by God not only to teach principles of prayer, but also to impart a spirit of prayer. Mark Brazee, The Master Is Calling by Lynne Hammond is a must read book for every believer who hungers for more of God and desires to be used by Him in this great "last days outpouring." Lynne's tremendous insights into the Scriptures coupled together with her personal experiences with the Holy Spirit will create such a stirring in your spirit that you won't be able to put this book down until you've completely fi nished it. And then you'll probably want to read it over and over again. Jerry Savelle, Through the years, I have read many books on the subject of prayer and the lives of people of prayer. Several of these people lived at the turn of the century, and some even before. I have been challenged by these men and women's devotion to God and have learned so much from what they received in the presence of God in times of prayer. My heart has been so stirred by these readings that at times I would have to put the book down and pray immediately. God has blessed my life with the friendship of Lynne, a modern-day woman of prayer. Her devotion to God and what she receives when she talks with Him will encourage, instruct, and even challenge you, as it has me, to a life greater in God through prayer. Patsy Cameneti, As things age we tend to place greater value on them. When I first opened The Master Is Calling and began to read, I immediately recognized it as a contemporary classic on prayer. I read it attentively realizing how profound a message it contained. Society is not expectant when it comes to the words church, Bible, Jesus, or prayer. Most are disillusioned with the first, can't understand the second, use the third to swear, but then...however inexperienced, we all try the last one. Sometime or another, everyone prays. When that time comes for you, I hope you have a copy of The Master Is Calling to show you how to do it effectively.
