Sega's Hatsune Miku series of rhythm action games makes its 3DS debut with 48 full-length songs and touch-screen controls in Project Mirai DX. Both the Touch mode and Button mode feature multiple difficulty levels and let players swap out vocals, change timing indicators, and adjust challenge and support items. When not playing, gamers can watch videos and add commentary in the Mirai Theater, design custom dance routines in the Dance Studio, compose original song phrases in the My Tune feature, and create custom Player Cards to be shared and updated via StreetPass and SpotPass.
In addition to the 19 double-sided augmented reality cards packaged with all copies of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, the launch edition features premium outer box packaging and includes a wallet chain that resembles Hatsune Miku's belt.
