Eurocult erotica siren Edwige Fenech stars in this giallo classic as Anna, a gorgeous but poor shop girl who takes up with a crime boss, Guido (Corrado Pani, GAMBLING CITY). In him she finds an end to her material deprivation, but she soon learns the real price of her flush existence as Guido forces her into a depraved life of prostitution and rampant violence. Disillusioned, she runs away and finds help in the form of sympathetic doctor Lorenzo (John Richardson, BLACK SUNDAY, ONE MILLION YEARS B.C.), but Guido soon tracks her down, and Anna finds herself facing off with the man under whose thumb she was held captive for so long. The ravishingly beautiful star has been little-known in the U.S., but lights up the screen here, aided by a supporting cast that includes Richard Conte (THE GODFATHER, OCEAN'S ELEVEN), and writing by Ernesto Gastaldi (MY NAME IS NOBODY).
