Grab your controllers and show off your martial arts moves with “Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones.” This 1991 fighting game caps off the “Double Dragon” series on the Nintendo Entertainment System. It sends Billy — sometimes called "Bimmy" — and Jimmy Lee on one last mission to save Marion. Unlike some other NES games, this is not a port despite the similarity to the “Double Dragon III: Rosetta Stone” arcade game. In addition, unlike the Japanese version, there is only one ending, regardless of how you get to it. Fighting follows the classic punch and kick paradigm, and you can take advantage of two gameplay modes, either with or without the chance of friendly fire.
