The book is packed with images, maps and colour profiles (including a few colour period images) something completely new to the majority of us and very interesting reading especially for enthusiasts of U.S. aircraft of the period., I found this a very interesting read on a relatively obscure subject...A thoroughly enjoyable read, recommended|9781911512585|, I must say I have never really thought of Brazil as a member of the Allied forces but they played their part to the full as much as they could and this book goes a long way to telling us their story...4/5 for this very informative book, ideal for Mil Hist buffs and model makers., Contents course chronologically through the whole terrific tale. And plenty of absorbing action accounts pepper the plot. It's lavishly illustrated, too... Get this superb little study., Part four of the publisher's 'Latin America at War' series, this is an interesting story, well told and well-illustrated., This Book Provides a Very Focused Look at a Little Known Aspect of What Was Truly a Global Conflict., [Brazilians at War] brings plenty of good information, which should be equally interesting to history fans and modelers., The author performs a very creditable job of following all of the BAF's activities in the anti-submarine role and in Italy. While theirs was certainly not the biggest or most important Allied contingent in the air war, the Brazilian Air Force performed its duty. Rivas covers its successes as well as its snafus. Readers will find here just about everything there is to know concerning the subject.
