Being the first and only small size paper currency, the 1966 United States Notes have a special significance for banknote enthusiasts. On the obverse, these United States Notes feature an image of U.S statesman and inventor, Benjamin Franklin as painted by Joseph-Siffred Duplessis. Furthermore, on the reverse, these 100 dollar bills bear an image of the Independence Hall. Plus, printed on a special paper made from a blend of cotton and linen, these United States Notes feels soft. As it is issued with a red seal and serial numbers, these 100 dollar bills make a rare sight. The 3D security ribbon of these United States Notes marks its authenticity. What’s more, the 1966 United States Notes uses a unique U.S. treasury seal with words in English instead of Latin, and makes it a collector’s item.
