Keep your home and office organized with the Brother P-Touch PT-D200 Label Thermal Printer. The PT-D200 is a portable printer that works on six AAA batteries and the optional AC adapter that you purchase separately. The printer has an intuitive interface that is easy to navigate and operate without the need of a computer. Its round, compact size makes it easy to handle as it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. The device measures 2.7 inches by 6.5 inches by 6.1 inches and weighs about 2 pounds including the batteries and cassette and 1.1 pounds without the accessories. The back of the Brother P-Touch PT-D200 Label Printer is raised in order to see the menu on the tilted LCD display easily when the printer is placed on top of a flat surface. The display shows one line of text with a maximum character count of 15 but breaks down into two lines of text with a maximum of 80 characters. This can be done by using the Enter key. The label printer uses a QWERTY keyboard that includes the usual control keys, such as Caps, Enter, Shift, Backspace, Space Bar, and Tab. On either side of the spacebar is the Accent Key that allows you to add accents to specific fonts and the File key that allows you to save your favorite label designs for printing at a later time. The label maker features one-touch keys that give you easy access to up to 600 symbols, 95 frames, 12 Deco Mode patterns, and 6 name badge designs. Eight professional fonts are included to add variety to your designs. The printer also has a large memory space that allows you to store settings and 30 custom designs. The Brother P-Touch PT-D200 Label Printer can print labels with a maximum width of 12 millimeters. Printing and organizing are easy with the Brother label printer because of the wide variety of options for the label cartridges including laminated and nonlaminated labels, narrow and super-narrow labels, standard laminated labels as well as fabric iron-on labels and extra-strength labels. The P-Touch labels printed from Brother P-Touch PT-D200 Label Printer have a variety of applications, including for food storage and organizing your important documents, cables supplies, and peripherals. Choose from a variety of predesigned labels or create your own using a fun mix of symbols, characters, frames, and other design elements that are readily available in the printer’s library. Preview your design on the LCD screen before you press the print button. The Brother P-Touch PT-D200 Label Printer uses Tze laminated tapes that protect the text from damage caused by water, abrasion, grease, and fading. The labels can also be used outdoors and in hot and cold environments, such as your freezer. Another advantage to using the Brother P-Touch PT-D200 Label Printer is its speed. It can print a 4-inch label in about 5 to 6 seconds and a 5.9-inch label for about 8 seconds. A label cutter on the printer cuts the label after it’s printed.
