The N-Gage version of Spider-Man 2 is something of a hybrid; it features both two-dimensional scrolling levels, like the GBA edition, and 3D-action levels, like those found on consoles and home computers. As in the other video games based on the summer 2004 cinematic sequel, N-Gage players take the role of Spider-Man to fight evil in Manhattan, facing countless low-level thugs and minions as well as infamous, high-profile boss characters from the Marvel pantheon. When crime-fighting as the friendly neighborhood teen superhero, time is often of the essence; also included are clocked levels, in which players must guide Spidey as he web-swings urgently through the city skyline.
