While ground-breaking designers Charles and Ray Eames became best known for their contributions to architecture and furniture design, their interests did not stop there. The imaginative and creative husband-and-wife team also explored the medium of film, creating numerous short films varying in subject matter from furniture design to algebra to aquariums and more. This six-volume collection documents the Eames's accomplishments across several fields by gathering 100 of their films. Delightful experiments in sound, color, movement, and editing, the films here show a lesser-known, but nonetheless, important side of one of history's most productive duos. Actor Gregory Peck narrates much of the series.
